About Us

Welcome to this collaboration of women who are creating a womens-way website!

This site has a focus on how women all over the world are collaborating to create learning contexts for and with each other.

Our organizing principles have to do with education as the practice of freedom, with the celebration of differences as the practice of maximizing our collective potential to work social change, with pacifism as the original human stance we all know in our female bodies, with interdependence as the path to a possible future, with exposing misogyny in all its forms as the unlocking of female instinctual power.

Whereas many other sites are announcing primarily programs and research, we are also opening our thinking about the forces which inhibit the collaborative spirit among and between women.

Since our collaborative has been developing a theory base to help us understand thse dynamics for three decades now, we know that we have created some valuable theoretical lenses, some, learning strategies, hundreds of useful activities and very strong patterns of bodywork, dreamwork and meditation practices to accompany the more mental patterns of thinking.

We are an international collaboration as we are working simultaneously in several countries. Our hopes are that women from all these growing systems will want to contribute material to this location and to engage in multilogues about what we are seeing. To that end, we will have a weblog at which anyone can post her own material and ask for responses.

The program calendar will include notices for many kinds of programming including our own but not limited to our own.

A library room will develop. At that point we will see an annotated bibliography of works which seem to be of common interest.

Many women are engaged in active action research on how group work can be explored and articulated. For these women we hope to have a way to discuss difficult cases in the groups of the moment. This would allow a collaborative consultation model.
